The love at first sight meeting
Beekeeping and the fascinating world of bees entered our lives by the happiest of coincidences.
When we bought our house in 2014, we discovered swarms installed between the shutters and windows.
We picked them up, wiping away a few dozen bites along the way.
In order to learn how to take care of them, we read a lot of books with passion, watched many documentaries and we learned by doing. To make this passion our profession, we validated our knowledge with a BPREA beekeeping.
This is the creation of Oca Nera honey from Corsica.
Our hives are all located in Haute-Corse , some are fixed, for the others we use them depending on the flowering by transhumancing our hives there (clementine trees, summer flowers, chestnut grove).
With us you will also find chickens, geese, ducks and quails.
We are committed to the well-being of our animals, our poultry are free on our land by the river so that they can scratch the earth and feed on insects.

Corsica offers exceptional endemic flora.
The environment
- a favorable climate allowing rich and diverse vegetation
- small areas of cultivation reducing the quantities of chemical inputs/pesticides.
We move some of our hives several times during the season in order to provide our bees with all the nectar and pollen resources available.
The honey stored in the supers is the colony's surplus.
It comes from the foraging of bees
on the flora available within a radius of approximately 3km.
100% raw.
From flowers to the hive and from the hive to the pots!
Honey is harvested as naturally and simply as possible. After mechanical extraction, the honey is filtered and then placed in jars without any further handling.
