Amber honey in liquid state and ivory when frozen, it has a particular flavor, sweet with a slight bitterness on the back palate.
 
Bees forage for ivy in the mountains in late summer and early autumn.
It is a fairly rare honey, with an extremely fine crystallization reminiscent of spreads.
